1 Peter 1:16-21

Anjelikka - Verses 16-17

Verse 16
(Read this like God is giving a serious instruction.)

“It is written in the Bible:
You must be holy,
   because I am holy.”

Verse 17
(Read clearly, like you're explaining something important.)

You pray to God and call Him your Father.
This Father judges everyone the same way.
So while you live on earth,
live in a way that shows respect for God.

Ezekkiel - Verse 18

(Read this part like you’re telling someone about a big change.)

A long time ago,
you lived the wrong way—
just like people did before you.

But now,
(Say this part with excitement.)
Jesus has saved you!

You weren’t saved with silver or gold.
Silver and gold can break or go away.

Anjelikka - Verses 19-20

(Read slowly and with care, like you're describing something special.)

You were saved with something much better—
with the precious blood of Jesus.
He was like a perfect lamb with no sin.

Jesus was chosen before the world began.
But in these last times,
He came to earth for you.

Ezekkiel - Verse 21

(Read with a strong and happy voice.)

You believe in God
   because of Jesus.
God raised Jesus from the dead
and gave Him glory!
So now,
your faith and your hope are in God.
