Bible Story
God gave Adam and Eve the job of taking care of the Garden of Eden. He made them caretakers of His creation. This means they were to look after the plants, animals, and everything in the garden. God wants us to do the same today. We are called to take care of the earth, respect nature, and protect God’s beautiful world. Being a caretaker is an important job that shows our love for God and His creation.
Thinking Time
What does it mean to be a caretaker of the earth?
How can you help take care of God’s creation?
Why is it important to protect the world God made?
Reflection
God has trusted us to care for His creation. We can show our love for Him by taking care of the plants, animals, and earth He gave us. Let’s be good caretakers of His world.
Application
Pick up some rubbish outside or help water a plant. Talk about why caring for God’s world is important.
